VPDS presents an example Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) Flexbody Simulation of a concept 120-Ton Shovel prototype machine in this video. The simulation model was created in 3 man-days. This modeling speed is a result of an internally developed process that includes use of a couple commercial software tools, internally developed Flexbody technology and rapid databases. Visualization of this machine simulation model demonstrates the ability to virtually develop, analyze and validate the performance of this Mining Industrial Equipment product.
